In 2008 Intellect Telecom fulfilled works to design the intercity and international communication networks for OJSC «Comstar-UTS» and OJSC «Comstar-UTS» network was successfully put into operation. In addition OJSC «Intellect Telecom»» developed system projects for OJSC «Comstar-UTS», OJSC «MGTS» and OAO «MTS» networks, eleborated the concept of the inter-linked network for the OJSC «Comstar UTS» group of companies with the use of next generation networks (NGN) as well as the 3G network system project for OJSC «MTS». Among other projects of Intellect Telecom there is development and introduction of monitoring systems of moving objects.

In the project to build a nationwide CDMA 800 network in India for Shyam Telelink OJSC «Intellect Telecom»» provides project management and interaction with equipment suppliers. In the first phase to build the Shyam Telelink pan-Indian network the company developed the strategy of network development, system project, provided the preparation and conducting of tenders for the equipment supply, made calculations of radio coverage, and performed the integration and optimization of the network. In October 2008 the CDMA 800 network of Shyam Telelink was successfully put into commercial operation.

The experts of the company are actively involved in the works to define the tasks and activities of the Federal telematic operator, generate commercial products and services on the basis of GLONASS/GPS, develop forward-looking proposals based on the use of telematics and global satellite positioning for the benefit of public, commercial and private customers.

International Telecommunication Union

OJSC «Intellect Telecom»» is a member of the International Telecommunication Union and participates in the ITU-R and ITU-D sectors. The interaction with Radio Research Institute and Central Research Institute of Communications, which are the leading research organizations of Russia in the field of communications and IT is provided through joint agreements. The company is working on joint projects with foreign manufacturers and suppliers of telecommunication equipment. OJSC «Intellect Telecom»» is also an associate member of Infocommunication Union (ICU) and Russian Asssociation of Networks and Services.
